I’ve been recognized by CBC’s Future 40 and TD Bank’s Creative Entrepreneur Incubator for my work in applying Agile & Lean Startup methods towards creative community building.

After completing my Bachelor’s of Applied Science in Software Systems Engineering, I founded Trifecta Music Festival, an annual outdoor arts & culture festival.

This became the premise for my Master’s thesis in Interdisciplinary Studies - The Application of Agile and Lean Startup Methodologies for Building Creative Communities.

This grew into Trifecta Sound Co., a music startup focused on exporting underrepresented Canadian artists & DJ’s.

This served as the platform for conducting my action research on implementing Agile-based methodologies in creative community building.

We successfully created over 300 live events, which included tours throughout the US, UK, EU and Singapore, and dates at festivals like Canadian Music Week, SXSW, and Tallinn Music Week.

Our work received media coverage from VICE Noisey, Gigwise UK, CBC, and Exclaim!, and was presented at conferences like Wavelength Toronto and The Congress of Humanities and Social Sciences.

Currently, Trifecta Sound Co. operates as an independent music label under exclusive distribution by The Orchard, and continues to release music from its artist and DJ roster.
